I like this look for Uni during winter since milk x chocolate goes with most winter items from my walldrobe :)
Simple, natural and fresh!
Let's get started!
1). Start with a fresh cleaned, moisturised face. Apply a primer if you need to. Conceal your under-eye-circles as usual, using a liquid concealer: Dot the product below your eyes and dab with your clean ring finger!
2). In winter, I much prefer using a liquid foundation than any other formulae because the air is so dry in the winter. I am showing two liquid foundations that I like, and they both have sunscreen in it. Yes! you should protect your skin from sun damage even if it's winter because the sun is till out just not as harsh!
3). Set your foundation using a loose powder, just simply dust it all over your face and neck.
4). Fill in your eyebrows like you would usually do, making sure the colour of your brow pencil suits your hair colour, darking towards the end of your brow.
5). Use a shimmery white eye colour mousse as a base colour of your lids, I also use this as a primer for my eye shadow since this stuff is really good at preventing my eye shadow from creasing! Amazing :D
Using the shimmery champagne colour (shade 1) in this quad, highlight your brow-bone and sweep it all over your lids. Apply the bronze colour (shade 3) on your outer V.
Pat a shimmery gold colour on the middle of your lids, then slightly blend out any harsh edges but make sure it's not going over the crease.
Line your eyes - make sure you stay as close to your upper lash line as possible, keep it thin and simple.
Curl your lashes and apply a natural looking mascara, one that's good at separating your lashes, gives your lashes a little bit of lengthening (but not too much!) but will not give you a dramatic volume. I always prefer to use a waterproof mascara.
6). Apply a soft coral mousse blush.
And set it with a soft peachy powder blush to increase the staying power. This blush contains some gold shimmer, which also gives my cheeks a glow :)
7). Line your lips with a lip pencil that is the same colour as your natural lip colour.
Apply a nude pink lipstick.
Finish off with a baby pink lipgloss with SPF 4 :D
Now you have it!
All you need to do now is, pop a matte press powder in your school bag with a retractable powder brush, your lipstick and lipgloss, and you are ready to go!
Have fun!
