Pink and Purple are so wearable for most people. After having months of hot sunny days, pink is introducing some warmth to this chilly autumn, also makes you looking refresh. With purple, being a great companion to pink, they are like sisters. Even if it's turned cold, make sure you still wear some SPF especially on sunny days.
6). Since I have oily eye-lids, I am using this mousse eye colour as a base, not that it can stop my eye-shadow from creasing, also give a shimmery undertone to my eye-shadow. Let's get started!
1). Apply your favourite primer to help your make-up stays on for longer, especially if you know it is going to be a long day out and that you are not going to have time doing touch-ups all the time.
2). Choose a long-lasting liquid concealer with a yellow undertone to conceal your under-eye-circles. Dot the product on your under-eye-area and dab with your clean ring finger/sponge until the product is blended well.
3). Here, I am using a cream-to-powder foundation with SPF25. The reason why I have chosen to use a cream-to-powder formula is because it's autumn and the air is a bit drier than it was in the summer, but this is not as heavy as a liquid foundation. Normally, I use a powder or mousse foundation for summer, a liquid foundation during the winter. Since I am going to visit the zoo, meaning I will be outdoor for the whole day, I am using one with SPF in it(I am also wearing a sunscreen!).
4). Since I used a cream-to-powder foundation, I can skip this step. But if any touch-up is needed during the day, I will just sweep this powder on my T-zone to keep my face from getting shiny.
5). Using a brow pencil, fill in your eyebrows following your natural brow-shape. Make sure that it is lighter at the beginning of the brow and darker towards the end. Your brow-colour should be lighter in colour to your hair if you have dark hair, darker than your hair if you have blonde hair.
7). Using a pink eye shadow, sweep it all over your lid, but do not go over your crease. Then, use a dark purple to go on the outer V, blend to prevent any harsh edges but do not go over the crease. Apply a very light pink colour to highlight your brow-bone.
8). Line your eyes using a water-proof eye liner. Here, I am using a black liquid liner. Do not over do this, line as close to your upper lash line as possible to keep you from looking too dramatic for a day time look. Finish up your eyes by curling your lashes and apply a water-proof mascara that is not going to give you a dramatic looking lashes, but great as separating and maybe a little lengthening as well.
9). For your cheeks, I am using a pink cream blush and setting with a pink powder blush to enhance the staying power. Use a very light hand because you are topping one blush on another. Then, using a shimmery white colour to highlight your cheek-bone and the high points of your face (e.g. bridge of your nose, "cubic" of your upper lip).
10). Using a pencil lip-lining, line your lips following the natural shape of your lips.
11). Finish with your favourite lipstick and lipgloss. Here, I am using a deep purplely-pink lipsticks with shimmers in it, topping with a baby pink lipgloss with SPF4.
Now, you are ready to go :)
Have a nice day.
